IntroductionClay is where my work leaves the flat surface and becomes physical. Each piece is an instinct-led study of expression, bringing warm personality and sculptural presence into everyday interiors.
Surface Strangers
Acrylic on Clay , approx. 30x30 cm
Clay character studies in modern loneliness. Beneath their candy-coated exteriors, bright hair, and stylised expressions, each piece introduces an imagined life—a dreamer, an eccentric, a tired soul carrying a quiet grief. They are little monuments to the private selves we rarely show to others: tender, worn, and beautifully lost in thought.
Meet Elphaba. Not mean, just completely uninterested in anyone's nonsense.
Meet Ben. Ben studies drama, which is convenient. because he's been dramatic since birth.
Meet Blush. Blush wakes up every morning to Anita Ward's smooth vocals ringing through her room, setting the perfect disco groove for the day.
Meet Tom. Tom's 1920s hairdo turns heads, and his ability to do accents easily makes Tom the funniest person you'll ever meet.
Meet Olive. Olive is tired.
Meet Matt. Matt's just picked up drumming, and with those wild curls, he's a one-man garage band.
Meet Milton. Milton collects vintage typewriters and writes poetic novels on one. Milton is a romantic and a true dreamer - the kind you only ever see in the movies.
Meet Candy. Candy owns a small bakery, turning sugar and butter into tiny works of art, specialising in Victorian cake designs with a maximalist flair.
Meet Pepe. Pepe owns a small French cuisine restaurant in his local neighbourhood-because everyone deserves a taste of je ne sais quoi.
Meet Cynthia. Cynthia loves a good over-lined lip. Despite her cotton candy look, Cynthia is a true goth.
Meet Elpha. Marilyn Monroe energy... just with a more wicked shade of green.
Meet Coco. Coco loves reading detective novels.
Meet Rob. Friends call them Purple Rob. A hair dye accident turned into a nickname, then into Rob's whole thing.
Meet Esra. Esra is an accountant and recently got a baby goat as a pet.
Meet Gene. Gene is currently obsessed with glam rock and secretly wants to be Gene Simmons.
Meet Kaya. Kaya is a young Renaissance girl, a hopeless romantic and devoted bird watcher. She carries a quiet sadness in her eyes, as if she's tired of the world.
Pocket Strangers
Acrylic on Clay , approx. 12×12 cm
A miniature counterpart to the larger portraits, these 12×12 cm clay pieces are sculpted as portable companions. Sized to hold in your palm, rest on a bedside table, or hang from a branch, each little face carries that same quiet melancholy—a tender, candy-colored stranger meant to keep you company through the uncurated moments of daily life.

Festive Fatigue
Acrylic on Clay , approx. 12×12 cm
A series of miniature clay ornaments exploring holiday burnout. Hand-sculpted and tied with satin ribbons, each piece captures an eccentric character quietly overwhelmed by the season. Sized at 12×12 cm, they are miniature monuments to social exhaustion, designed to bring a little dark humour and honest humanity to the Christmas tree.
